A Trip to the Mall

Attendees: Troy Martin, Sumantro Das, Krish Iyer (not Sarkar)

6:10pm- the group arrives at the Palisades Canter (the second largest
               mall in the United States)
6:15pm- arrive at Best Buy (a large electronics/home appliance shop).
6:30pm- Krish buy headphones. Donald says the CD-Rs (blank CDs) here are too expensive
6:35pm- arrive at EB Games (video games store).
6:45pm- Troy buys Driven and ATV Quad Power Racing 2 (for Nintendo Game Cube system). Donald
                tells Troy to buy sports games. Troy refuses, as he is a
                diehard racing person. Sumo calls Troy’s games “Rubbish.”
6:45-6:55pm- Donald looks at PS2 games. Troy and Krish laugh at him
                          becauase they both have NGC.
7:00pm- arrive at KB Toys (a place for kids that also sells video games).
7:10pm- Troy buys 3rd NGC Game; Monster Jam: Maximum Destruction.
                 Sumo again yells “rubbish,” tells Troy to spend money on
                 a “good” game (like Cricket 2004 once it comes out)
7:15pm- the three hike over to the food court, where Sumo and Eddie
               by a soda, and Troy buys Chinese food.
7:45pm- group walks toward the Apple Store (place where Macintoshes are bought). Donald
                says he wished be bought another soda (in the US, a soft drink is called a "soda").
7:50pm- enter apple store. Troy is in heaven, Donald thinks “garbage
               Macs,” Krish thinks “why am I here? I hate Macs.”
7:55-8:30 pm- Troy shows Donald the JBL Creature speakers he is
                          getting for Christmas. Krish tells him to get the big speakers, which
                          Krish is currently SHAKING the store with. Troy says they are off his
                          holiday budget. Krish discovers Itunes music store (online store software found on Macs),
                          is very interested.
8:35pm- Mr. Das picks us up. Troy says he wants to work at Apple
                Store. Donald says that is “ridiculous.” And the night is
                concluded.
