Sumantro was one of the original founders of the Delhi Dogs in 1999. His main role takes place in the summer when Pocket 40 plays its summer games. His performances have been inconsistent of late, but at his best has proven to be a match winner. His bowling was once compared to the South African great Allan Donald, and would eventually give him his nick name, Donald. (December 2003)
